Decision Determines Destiny
Your Response
Do you know for sure that you will spend eternity with God in Heaven?
If not, this is a decision you don't want to put off.
God's Word brings us to the crossroads of life where we must make a decision either to receive Him as the answer to our sin problem, or to reject His free gift of salvation, resulting in eternal separation from Him.
The only way Jesus can affect your life is if you receive Him--invite Him into your heart as Lord and Savior. John 1:12 "But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name". |

To say, "NO!", is rejecting God's offer. The Bible says that those who make this choice will spend eternity separated from God in a place called hell. Psalm 9:17 "The wicked shall be turned into hell and all the nations that forget God". The Bible gives warning to those who reject this offer by responding, "maybe at a more convenient time". Proverbs 27:1 "Do not boast about tomorrow, for you know not what a day may bring forth".
II Corinthians 6:2b "I tell you, now is the time of God's favor, now is the day of salvation". Neutral you cannot be; for in postponing this decision, you are in essence rejecting His free gift. The course you are choosing in rejecting this free gift is eternal separation and
judgment.
However, if you realize your need of a Savior, and choose to personally accept God's free gift, you will be finding the solution to your sin problem. You will then experience meaning and purpose in life, and also experience the peace of God and the assurance of going to be with Him in the life hereafter - HEAVEN. The Bible says that you can be 100% assured of your eternal destination. I John 5:11-13 "And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life; and he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life".
"Blaise
Pascal, a scientist and mathematician who lived at the dawn of the
Age of Enlightenment, sympathized with those who had trouble
believing in an unseen world. "The eternal silence of these
infinite spaces frightens me," he said, contemplating the
short duration of his life set against eternity and the tiny space
he filled against the immensity of space. Nonetheless, he could
not understand the attitude of glee with which skeptics proclaimed
their disbelief in God and immortality, treating it as a kind of liberation,
a shaking off the yoke. A brief life in a meaningless universe and
then annihilation - can anyone truly welcome such a prospect?
Pascal saw faith as a cosmic wager. He faced uncertainty either
way. If he cast his lot with God and was proved wrong, he would
forego certain pleasures and selfish rewards in this life and
then, at death, fade into nothingness. On the other hand, if he
chose against God and was proved wrong, he would face an eternity
of regret. After weighing the odds, Pascal decided it is better in
every way to believe in something that isn't that to disbelieve is
something that is. The best course of all is to believe in
something that is - GOD - the ultimate wager of faith.
So it really boils down to this question
WHAT WILL YOU DO WITH JESUS CHRIST?
If you have never accepted God's offer of eternal life, I can think of no better time than right now. Wherever you are in life, wherever you have fallen short of the mark, whatever you have done or have plans of doing, I want you to join me in talking to God (prayer) to invite Him into your life.
This invitation is open - you can right now accept this free gift of salvation - the solution to that sin problem in your life.
Would you like to begin a relationship with Jesus Christ right now?
Matthew 11:28 invites us to "Come unto Me, all you that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest".
If you cannot find the words to express your desire to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, I would like to present the following prayer to help verbalize your desire:
Father in Heaven,
I know I am a sinner and need forgiveness.
I believe that your Son, Jesus Christ, died on the cross in my place to pay the penalty for my sin, and rose again for my salvation.
With Your help I want to turn from my sinful ways.
So I now ask you, Jesus, to come into my life as my Savior and Lord.
The Bible states in Romans 10:13, "Everyone that calls on the name of the Lord will be saved".
John 3:3 states, " Truly, truly I say unto you, except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God".
